2023 Mother's Day Grants

In continued support of efforts to reunify separated families, This Is About Humanity (TIAH) proudly provided grants in honor of Mother’s Day to two vital partner organizations: Justice in Motion and Each Step Home.

The TIAH grant to Justice in Motion supported its Defender Network operating in Mexico and Central America. The funds helped secure Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) for eight immigrant children, protecting them from abusive environments and giving them the opportunity to reunite with a parent or guardian in the United States.

Through its grant to Each Step Home, TIAH covered critical reunification expenses for 20 families. Each Step Home continued its essential work of locating and reconnecting families identified as eligible for reunification and a three-year legal status.

TIAH remained committed to supporting dignity, family unity, and the long-term well-being of immigrant families.
