We All Have Mental Health
Thanks to This Is About Humanity’s “We All Have Mental Health” Alliance with Fundación CAAAREM and the International Community Foundation, more than 300 families received mental health services—totaling 1,400 individual or group sessions. This effort represented over 5,000 hours of specialized mental health counseling, 150 workshops, 50 school visits, and reached 9,155 children and teens at the U.S.–Mexico border through the Mental Health Services Grant.
The following partner organizations played a key role in delivering these critical services:
International Community Foundation
Fundación CAAAREM
Casas YMCA México
Ciudad de los Niños Tijuana
Pro Salud A.C.
Centro de Servicios SER A.C.
Refugee Health Alliance (RHA)
Additionally, This Is About Humanity partnered with Centro 32 to provide a mobile mental health unit that traveled between various shelters. The unit supported over 350 children, teens, parents, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, delivering mental health services and art therapy through a combination of in-person and remote sessions.
